Softeners
The INDION NG Softeners (NGS) are intended to remove hardness present in feed water .The unite incorporates a strong aide cation resin in sodium form which removes hardness present in water and produce soft water .On exhaustion the unite is regeneration with a 15% w/v solution of sodium chloride
The unite incorporates the current regeneration technique. The flow of water during the service cycle is in a direction opposite to that of the regenerant.
The system produces treated water having very low hardness typically less than 1mg/l as CACO3.
NSG manual and auto softeners are designed to treat up to 50m3/hr of feed water.
Features
- Unite is free standing and requires no special foundation
- Unite is pre-assembled and tested prior to dispatch and easy to install and commission

- Entire unities of plastic construction and is corrosion free and pressure vessels is if fibre Glass Reinforced (FRP) construction

Specification
- One FRP pressure vessels fitted with plastic internal fittings
- One no. Multi-port valve with hand operated lever
- One no. initial charge of strong acid cation Exchange resin in sodium form (INDION 220 Na+)
- One no. combined slat tank of LLDPE/FRP with fitting and brine filtering media
- Two no. pressure gauge one each at inlet and outlet
- One no. Rate of flow indicator (optional)
- Automation of NG softeners is carried out using programmable Logic Controller (PLC) That energies a set of solenoid valves which in turn operate the butterfly control valves located on the unite .
