Application

New Generation
Manual &auto Multi Grade filter (NGMF)
New generation Multigrade filter (NFMG) series remove suspended solid from feed water .They also remove turbidity provide the feed water has already been coagulated and clarified. Filters are designed to handle a maximum flow of 35 m3/h.
Features
- NGMF series of Multi Grade Filter is aesthetically designed, light weight and easy to install and maintain. It does not require any special foundation
- Specially graded coarse and fine sand is used as filter media which permits handling larger linear flow rate as compared to conventional single media filter resulting in lower footprint
- The entire unite is made up of plastic material pressure vessels is made of fibre reinforced plastic (FRP) and pipe work is of poly vinyl chloride(PVC)
- Filter is fitted with a single Multi-port valve to be operated by hand lever for ease of operation
- Filter is backwashed by reversal of flow whenever the pressure drop across the unite exceeds the set limit.
Application
- Multi Grade Filter are used as last step in the pretreatment of surface water for removed of the last trace of suspended solid (SS) and turbidity present in clarified water
- Multi Grade Filter are also use as side stream filters for removal of suspended solid in cooling tower recirculation water

Note:
Multi Grade Filters (Model no. NGMF 20 to 195) are fitted with a multi-port valve operated by a hand lever
Multi Grade filter (Model no .270 and NGMF 350) are fitted with individual butterfly valve with a hand operated lever.
Automation of Multi grade filter is carried out using programmable logic controller (PLC) that engineer a set of solenoid valves which in turn operate the butterfly control valve located on the unite.
Activated carbon Filers
The Activated carbon filter are intended to remove free residual chlorine (FRC) present in feed water .Granular activated carbon is used as the filter media.
A range of carbon filter are available to treat feed water up to 170m3/h
For removed of odour, organic matter and traces of oil ,peat based activated carbon with larger pore size can be supplied on request
Pressure vessels are designed as per IEI good engineering practice. Vessels confirming to ASME sec.VIII can be supplied on request .Pressure vessels are of MS, MSRL or SS 316 construction. Frontal pipe work is available in PVC, MS,MSRL or SS316
